The European R(h)um Award was created out of the conviction that rum deserves its own stage – one that puts quality, craftsmanship, and taste at the center. As part of the Vienna Rum Festival, the award brings together Europe’s finest products – regardless of how well-known a label may be or how elaborate a bottle is designed.

For a long time, we felt the absence of such a competition.
